Have Round Red Itchy Rashes. Using Trimovate Cream. Is It Ringworm Or Eczema?
Hi, i have just been to my local doctor as i have a round red itchy rash on my leg and it seems to have spread to my hands. He told me it is either ringworm or eczema and gave me trimovate cream. He also told me i shouldnt be contagios even though its on my hands. I dont suffer from skin conditions . The cream says it treats eczema but not ringworm. What do i do?

Hi red itchy rash on the legs can be tinea corporis.not eczema .it will not be cured by above mentioned ointment.use a antihistamine atarax 25 mg at night terbinafine 250 mg once daily and application of terbinafine ointment can cure the condition.use fungal scrappings to confirm the diagnosis before treatment is started
