Have Round White Sore Near Tip Of Tongue. Tried Peroxide And Water Gargle. Cure?
About 2 weeks ago I noticed a round white sore near the tip of my tongue. I have tried peroxide and water gargle, ice and cold drinks. It has what looks like a small tube extending from it that has a red dot at the end of it. The lesion is white still, has not lessened in size and has changed in appearance with the look of this very small tube with the red dot. What should I do.
Hello, White sore near the tip of tongue may be type of aphthous ulcers which is recurrent in nature. I would advice you to take plenty of fluids and nutritious rich diet. Maintain oral hygiene well. Vitamin becosules,c,iron and folic acid tablets has to be administered. Floss your tongue using tongue scrapers. Rinse your mouth after every meals. Use chlorhexidine as well as betadine solution to gargle. Take care.
