Have Runny Nose, Cough And Cold. No Medication Till Now. Had Chest Pain. What To Do?
I caught a cold 2 weeks ago. Have a cough and runny nose now. Had a coughing fit this morning, couldn't catch my breath, almost passed out, had a painful allergic feeling all over my upper chest that worried me. Went on for several minutes. Now I'm exhausted but I can breathe. Never felt that allergic feeling in my upper chest during a coughing fit before.
Hello, You need to get your ENT check up, for the nasal infection .Cough could be because of the infection which have trickled down the throat . Such breathlessness could be because of frequent coughing or may be you had narrowing of the airway because of the irritation by the infection. Get your chest X ray done so that chest infection is ruled out. Then need to take proper antibiotic coverage. In addition you can get done CT scan of nose and paranasal sinuses to rule out infection in sinuses which trickles down and to know the anatomic defect if present so that further management surgical if required can be done. get well soon.
