I am extremely sorry for the pain and agony that you are experiencing.
There are a few possibilities after abortion. Sometimes the abortion is incomplete. A few pieces remain stuck inside and the uterus tries to expel them out leading to pain. Another cause may be infection. This is accompanied by bleeding or discharge from the vagina with pain and sometimes fever. Check if you have the other symptoms. The next possibility is a urine infection leading to abdominal and back pain.
I suggest that you see your treating gynecologist and get yourself examined. If the pain is severe, a urine examination and an ultrasound will be needed to see for infection and to see if the abortion is complete or not.
Hope this helped. Thanks for using HCM. Dr Madhuri Bagde
