Have Severe Chills, Palpitations. On Propranalol. Will My BP Fluctuate?

Hi was wondering if taking 2-2.5 20mg doses of propranalol, before bed, could cause my blood pressure to fluxuate enough where I get severe "Chills!!??" This happens as soon as I start falling asleep;( soooo frustrated!! My dosage was recently increased from a single 20mg dose, because I was having occasional night palpitations, when lying horizontally, in bed, or in a recliner. I look forward to your response;) Thank You

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The dose of propranolol is too low to cause this effect.
The usual dose is 40 to 160 mg - some times double this!
You need to look for other causes...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
