Have Severe Headaches. Head Feels Numb, Strange Daze, Angry. Fainted Once. Have Hypothroid. Problem With Brain?
hi, i am 24 years old and have extremely bad headaches everyday, my head feels numb and puts me in a strange daze all the time and i cant concentrate without getting very frustrated and angry at myself trying to do simple things, it has prevented me from going outdoors as i have previously fainted from this and fear it happening outdoors as im a single parent of a 3 yr old. i also am hypothroid but even when my thyroid is fine im still getting this numbness and confusion, i feel convinced there is something seriously wrong with my brain, could this be possible?? please help.
Hi, The symptoms you have described can go with hypothyroidism also .continue with your thyroid drugs ,get checked TSH level and aim is to keep TSH around 2-2.5.
Consult Neurologist for clinical examination and require MRI brain to rule out structural lesion. Also check your blood sugar , haemoglobin and lipid profile levels.Correction of this will also reduce your symptoms as hypothyroidsm can be associated with deranged lipdis
Don't worry , everything can be treatable.
