Have Severe Itching On The Hand Along With Red Spots

I did the salt and ice challenge 2 days ago on my hand. My hand doesnt burn, it just itches. I dont have blisters, and my skin isnt coming off either. I just have a red mark on my hand. Will the red mark go away eventually? If so, how long will it take?

Hi

You seem to have developed a superficial skin burn. This can lead to some redness in the skin.
It might take two to three days for complete healing.
In the meantime, you can apply a mild steroid cream like cortisone over the affected areas twice a day .
Keep the areas clean and dry .
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it .
