Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query
From your description it seems to me that the pain is of pleuritic nature for which you need to undergo at least a chest x-ray for proper evaluation. Pain may also be due to GERD for which you should start to take pantoprazole 40 mg tablet twice daily before food daily for 6 weeks at least along with life style modification. Consult a pulmonologist and get yourself properly examined.
Thank you
Dr Arnab Maji
