Have Sinus And Congestion Along With Muffled Ear. Taking Antibiotic And Augmentin. Had A Surgery For Sinus Earlier. What To Do?

I have had sinus issues and sinus surgery in 2009 and have had Tinnitus in my ears as well. I developed congestion and a sinus infection over Memorial Day weekend and have had a muffled ear with pain since. I am on an antibiotic, Augmentin, for a week now. The Muffled ears has me very concerned and also it is amplifying the tinnitus issue in my ear. What should I do?

Hi, you have sinus surgery in 2009, had tinnitus, developed infection, and pain.
it appears that you have developed nasocomial infection, and resistant to antibiotics.
I in this situatoi prescribe a combination of anaerobic and aerobic antibiotics like ofloxacin, and ornidazole, with other supportive drugs.
Any how consult your doctor again , he may get the culture and sensitivity done and treat accordingly. Thank you.
