Have Sleep Disorder. Not Much Relief With Amitriptyline. Best Medication And Dosage To Get Good Sleep?

Hi there I have a sleep disorder and usually manage to sleep well on mg of Amitriptyline per night, but if some thing changes my routine or people come to stay I do not sleep on this dosage, please advise the best dosage for me, and I get very anxious when I cant get to sleep, last night I took 80mg and still didn't sleep so at 1am I took 4mg of clonanzapam and finally went to sleep. What should I do in these situations which is usually a week per month, should I use quittapine as well? Thanks Karen

hello taking self medication without taking expert advise is dangerous and harmful. I think you are suffering from anxiety neurosis. I will advise you to consult psychiatrist and take his opinion regarding your sleep problem. I hope you understood my view, thank you and get well soon.
