Have Small Clear Bump On The Outside Of Lip. How To Get Rid Of It?

Hi, I have a small clear bump on the outside of my lip and I was born with it (not painful) It s always there and in the same place, but usually flares up when its very hot or I m stressed. It s very small, but still noticeable. What is it and how can I treat it or get rid of it. I ve had it all my life, but it s just starting to bug me now more than ever! thank you! Patty from Texas

Hello Patty,
The swelling which is disturbing you might be a Mucous cyst.You can get it removed by a Dermatosurgeon under localanaesthesia and get rid of it.Otherwise you get an ultrasound scan done to see the nature of the swelling and decide the mode of removal.
