Have Sore Throat. No Fever. Yellowish Blisters In Back Of Throat. What Is It?
Hi, I have had a sore throat for over a week. I have not had a fever. There were several small, yellowish blisters in the back of my throat (not as many now). Although there are not as many actual blister-like spots, you can now visibly see the veins in the back of my throat. I also seem to have a small sore on the roof of my mouth. I have also been experiencing a lot of drainage. What is this? And, what would you recommend?

Have Sore Throat. No Fever. Yellowish Blisters In Back Of Throat. What Is It?
Hi, It means that your throat has got infected and needs proper treatment. I would suggest to : - start antibiotic therapy - use throat spray containing iodine - do some gargar with water and salt - i usually recommend to use 1 tablespoon olive oil and honey in the morning for sore throat - get plenty of water - use some anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen If no results, discuss with your doctor to do a throat culture for antibiotic sensitivity. Hope it helped!
