Have Sore Throat, Coughing, Hurting In Chest, Feel Like Lump. Right Medication?

Hi Saturday i went out with my friend...for one thing it was raining and i got pretty wet and at the party i stay under air conditioner...people there was smoking also ....but later on my right side of my throat got slightly sore now it's monday and i had a slight coughing hurt my chest some..but my throat is sore and feel like a lump in it...i can eat..etc no problems..just dry and sore

Hello,
This cold could be because of the exposure to the cold water and smoke.
If there is no pain then you can take gargles and in 1-2 days the symptoms must subside.If there is pain that shows infection then you need to take antibiotic for relief and to prevent spread of infection.
You can use lukewarm water with salt mixed for gargle two times a day.
Prevent smoking and alcohol.
avoid spicy and oily food .
Take care of reflux from stomach .
