Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

It appears more likely to the trauma sustained because of vigorous sucking. Every infection has incubation period before the disease gets manifested. Its highly unlikely to be due to any infection, as the lesion due to infection will not occur so early.

Rest be assured everything is alright.

Take Care
