Have Soreness In The Soft Palate In Throat. Had A Sharp Object Like Feeling Earlier. What To Do For Soothing The Wound?

Hi. This morning it felt like I had a sharp object, like a piece of nut or something like that, stuck in the back left side of my throat. I managed to have it move away from my soft palate, but now that sspot on my soft palate is very sore, swallowing is painful, and it hurts even when I don;t swallow. Do you have any suggestions for soothing this wound on my soft palate?

Hello,
It seems like you had a injury to soft palate of throat by a sharp object while eating. Since you have managed to remove the object, no need to worry.
It might have caused a injury because of which you are having pain.
For symptomatic relief you can try local application of gels containing local anesthetics which provide pain relief.
Since oral cavity is highly vascular the wound will heal quickly, hence no need to worry.

Thank you
