Have Swelling Around The Eye After Cataract Surgery

I have had both cataracts removed.
the last one was done almost 4 months ago, but there is quite distinct welling around the eye, most prominent on my cheekbone, which you can see is larger than the other side, my eye feels swollen and I can see my cheekbone, the sensation almost feels like I have a black eye, and am looking out of a partially open eye.
I have been back to my surgeon, and he says he does not know why its swollen

Hello
It seems from the history that you have been operated for cataract surgery 4 months ago.
It is very uncommon to have swelling around the eye after 4 months of surgery.
Hence this can be because of inflammations around the eye. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation regarding this.

Thank you
