Have Swelling In The Tonsil Along With White Growth

My partner has ongoing inflammation on her tonsils, she has a broken tooth on the same side as her swollen tonsil and her other tonsil is swollen too. She said she can see a white growth on the back of her throat, but when I shine a light in her mouth I can't see what she is talking about. She has also has abdominal pains prior to her tonsils becoming inflamed. She is worried it may be tonsil cancer.
