Have Swollen Clitoris Leaking Red, Pussy Fluid. What Is It?

female- age 32 - 5'5 -140 lbs - no medical problems.
have had a swollen (rock hard) clitoris for almost two days, was going to go to the doctors today, but woke up and it had "popped" i guess, leaking red and pussy fluid. There was no spots, discoloration, or bumps before, now there are two distinct holes that are leaking. The size is almost back to normal but I am so confused as to what caused this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

This could be a cyst or an abscess which has bursted on its own, I would recommend you to visit a doctor and get yourself examined, as non-sterile surroundings can result in a re-infection, and without a visual examination, the diagnosis cannot be confirmed.

In the meantime, please wear clean and dry undergarments ( preferably cotton) or apply a sterile pad, and keep the area dry. Do not apply anything on the region. Immersing your body in warm water or sitz baths at least 4-7 times a day will also help in reducing any inflammation if present and promote healing.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.

Hi, It may be sebacious cyst. Usually due to blockage of duct causes sebum to accumulate and cyst will form. If no fever, redness, raise in local temperature, no need to worry. Wish you good health.
