Have Throbbing Sensation In The Head. Have High BP. No Medication Till Now. What To Do?
I have a throbbing sensation on my head for the past 4 days - some days it is worse and other day not as bad. Its more of a problem when Im bending my head down to do my university work. I do have primary hypertension - I always seem to have high blood pressure when I was 18 and now Im 30. I ate a lot of seafood prior to developing this throbbing sensation 2 days prior. It doesnt cause my headache or migraine at all. Its more annoying when you are doing your work but when Im in bed watching a movie, I wont notice it at all and when I put a cap on my head, then i wont notice these symptoms.
Hello, If you know that you are suffering from high blood pressure and still you are not taking any treatment,it is just like playing with fire. Uncontrolled hypertension leads to damage of blood vessels, damage to heart which may result in coronary artery disease and heart failures, strokes, damage to kidneys in form of kidney scarring and development of aneurysm etc. Uncontrolled hypertension also leads to diabetes in long run. Since you are very young you must get yourself thoroughly exsmined and investigated to rule out various causes of secondary hypertension. Consult your doctor and take proper anti BP medications to avoid its complications. Thanks
