Have Tiredness. Have Been Diagnosed With Heart Failure, High BP And Taking Medication. What To Do Now?
Hi have been diagnosed with heart failure about 3 months ago. I have diabetes type2 very much under control as well as high blood pressure and had a heart attack with a stent inserted in February (diagnosed with heart failure 2 weeks later). I seem to be very very tired the past few days. I am taking my meds and keeping my weight tightly monitered and under control.
The tired feeling that you are experiencing may be related to your heart failure. Heart failure is known to be associated with fatigue. You should monitor for any additional symptoms that may be related to heart failure such as being limited in your normal daily activities, shortness of breath, palpitations.
You may want to consult your doctor regarding your fatigue to see if any changes need to be made. He or she may also consider assessing you for any other conditions that can cause fatigue such as anemia or hypothyroidism.
I hope this helps
