Have Tonsillitis, Asthma. Taken Azithomicine, Cifixime, Amoxicllin. Remove Tonsils?

I am 22 years old suffring from frequently tonsillitis last 5 years and asthama when i was 1 year old , i have been taken daily verious high antibioties such as azithomicine, cifixime, amoxicllin ect . but not benifite this treatement ,doctor suggiested to remove tonsil but my mind is not prepaired it is requested you to give your opinion in this regared. Thanking you

Hello ,
For every patient tonsillectomy is not recommended as a treatment option , most of the times it will be relieved by taking antibiotics and maintaining proper oral care taking clean drinking water , tonsillectomy surgery is recommended for those patients with recurrent tonsillitis and attacks more than 4-6 times per year..so u need not worry much about it and when ever you get the tonsillitis take the complete course of antibiotics and iodine mouth gargles..
