Have Tonsils Removed Previously. Pain In Neck, Throat, Skin Tag In The Tonsils Area. Reason For Pain?
I had my tonsils out when I was 14, I am now 23. I have recently had some pain in neck and throat, when I have looked there is a small skin tag near just infront of where my tonsils used to be. I have been to the doctors and they said it looks like a cyst. I am really worried it's something more serious, the skin flap itself isn't painful just annoying but I do often get pain in neck and jaw

It there is skin tag or small cyst it will not cause problems.
If your tonsils are out then there could be two reasons for sore throat.
nasal disease or allergic disease in which the discharge falls back in throat and irritates the throat
Secondly reflux disease can cause this in which stomach contents come up in throat especially in night and irritates throat.
get ENT consultation and treatment for it
