Have Two Small Bumps On Labia Majora Which Are Symmetrical To Each Other. Should I Be Concerned?

I have two small bumps on my labia majora which are symmetrical to each other. they itched at first (that was how I noticed them) but then they stopped. just looking at my vagina you can't see the bumps but if I brush my finger across it I can feel it. I am sexually active but used a condom every time and my partner has never been with anyone else other than me. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi
It can be a bartholinitis. In bartholinitis, one or both of the glands and/or their ducts become infected. In some cases, the disorder is caused by bacteria from faeces entering the glands as a result of poor hygiene. One or both ducts may also become blocked, causing a painless swelling called a Bartholin’s cyst.So you should rule out from a gyanecologist. In that case your doctor will prescribe antibiotics to treat bartholinitis, and the disorder should clear up within a few days. Painkillers may help to relieve discomfort. An abscess may be drained under local anaesthesia. Bartholin’s cysts are not usually removed unless they are very large or cause discomfort.
Hope this may help you
thanks
