Hello Evelyn
As per your history, and ultrasonography finding, you have uterine fibroid which is 8 cm in size.
That fibroid is the main root of all your complains, heavy menstrual bleed, pain, urinary frequency{as size of fibroid is large which compresses the urinary bladder}

As far as treatment is concerned, many small fibroid don't require treatment if they are not causing any problem or if the menopause of the patient is near.
But the size of your uterine fibroid is large 8cm, so it definitely requires surgical procedure.

There are grossly 2 types of procedures in surgery of fibroid.
1. Myomectomy= when you not married and require kids in future.
2. Hysterectomy= when your family is complete.

Above procedures can be done via Open approach or via Laproscopic Approach.

I strongly advice you to contact your nearby Surgeon/Gynecologist for surgical opinion.
