As any infection during pregnancy can affect the general health of the mother and there by baby health, it should be treated carefully. Better to consult gynecologist, get examined and take antibiotics and antitussives. Home remedies can also be used. Refer:http://srsree.blogspot.in/2012/05/cough-in-pregnancy.html She can keep two pillows to elevate the head end that can help in receiving the breathing problem to some extent.
