Please help to explain my Widal test report.. I have Sal. Typhi - O Antigen = 1:180 Sal. Typhi - H Antigen = 1:160 Sal. Paratyphi - A - H Antigen = 1:160 Sal. Paratyphi - B - H Antigen = NO AGGLUTINATION Do i have typhoid.??

Yes,you are suffering from typhoid fever.Titration greater or equal to 1: 160 (O or H antibodies)confirms typhoid fever in a single estimation.Other wise four fold increase in titration is confirmatory.
You need antibiotics for typhoid fever.
Injection XXXX 1 gm I.V BD for seven days is the treatment of choice.
Oral tablet XXXX 200 mg BD for seven days is also practiced.
Tablet XXXX 500 mg can be given for fever SOS.
