Have Wound On Leg, Swollen And Painful, Hard Spot Inside Skin. Have Lyme Disease. Is This Blood Clot Or Infection?

i have lyme disease. - i have a 6 year old woond on my left leg bottom inside part -which over the years was slowly getting better - now it is swollen and in pain?pain is slowly rising up my leg?
not a open wond and never has never been
it did have a hard spot on the inside of the skin went from hand size to 50 cent peace size in the 6 years- do you think this could be a bllod clot or infection?
i live in jacksonville fl where i can not find a lyme dr.

Hello, I have gone through your query.
In my opinion, the wound you are referring to might be erythema migrans, presentation of lyme disease. If you would have pictoral presentation would be more easy to understand. Infection might have fever to occur. I suggest you to Use doxycycline 200mg for 7 days. If you already used this drug use Amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 20 days. Hope this helped you. Thanks.
