OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
I presume that pregnancy was excluded before prescribing this medication. The cause of the current spotting in that case should be due to withdrawal. The cause of the nausea, diarrhea is most likely the progestogen pill that you have been given to induce a period. You can expect a period within 3-7 days after completion of the treatment. If that does not happen, consult your doctor for further help. PCOD is the commonest hormonal disorder found in the reproductive age group and responds very well to treatment. Maintenance of a healthy body weight, daily exercise and a proper diet go a long way in the management. Hope this helps.
