Having Acne And Weight Gain. Diagnosed With PCOS. Prescribed Diane. Remedy?
I have not had acne since I was a teenager, now I am 26 and it is back. When I noticed slight weight gain as well, I went to my OBGYN to check for PCOS, and it so turn out I was diagnosed with it. He prescribed Diane 35 for 6 months, and I am fearful of gaining weight. I already eat very well, yet I see the pounds coming on.Will the Diane exacerbate this weight gain?

Hi,
Diane is not a drug that will cause weight loss. Its will treat the hormonal imbalance that you have. The weight gain is occurring due to the hormonal imbalance .If that gets controlled then,the weight loss will be contained. But you should check your thyroid also. You also need to exercise as well. My suggestion is to continue with the Diane.
