Having Body Pain After Taking Ceftum 500 Bd For UTI
hi dr. my father of age 55 having fever and body pains for last 5 days also having headache after blood and urine test sugar was detected in urine and doctor said he having uti so he prescribed ceftum 500 bd but after taking 2 days he still having body pains and sometimes fever and he is feeling very cold sometime...what to do

He might need antibiotics for 5-10 days. Once the infection resolves the fever subsides.
You said sugar was detected in urine. Is the blood sugar normal? How much is it? Get the HBA1C and cholesterol profile.
