Having Colon And Rectal Disease With Diabetes. High Eosonophil Level. Caused By The Disease?

Hello, My dad just had a blood test done earlier this week and his eosinophils level is really high. He has a colon and rectal disease and recently been getting treated for diabetes . I have read about some related diseases that causes it to increase but I want to know if his current diseases are the causes of it and how to mitigate the problem before he meets with his doctor. Thank you.
