Having Discomfort In My Eyes As A Plastic Object Went Into My Eyes. Will This Affect Cornea ?

I was using a dremel tool yesterday, and a small bit of plastic flew right into my eye at high speed. It hurt when it happened, but I rinsed the eye out with water, and it seemed ok, just sensitive. But I just woke up in the middle of the night, and my eye is in more serious discomfort, and I am feeling nauseated. It is possible that the plastic went through the cornea?

Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum,
You should not neglect this, consult a good ophthalmologist for this problem. It requires a slit lamp examination to know whether the foreign body is present or not, or to check for any trauma to the cornea.

Regards
Dr. Naveen Kumar
