Having Dry Cough With Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath

Hello Doctor .goodevening.there is one issue for long time had no treatment.one of my friend sometime having dry coughping for 15 minutes contiously.in the same time he is also having chest pain and shot of breath .feels very weak.it happend so many times.and also it happens suddenly if he is resting.or happens when he is working.he is a civil engg .working in the field site.this symptos is for past 3 yrs.he is jst afried to go to the docter for check up.wht kind of specialist is needed for this treatment.plz help him for a better life.i m so worred.thank u

It seems that your friend might be suffering from some kind of allergy which in turn might be causing these symptoms!! you could ask him to consult a pulmonalogist and get a pulmonary function test done..
This will help to determine the cause and appropriate treatment!!
