Having Flaky Skin On Penis And Skin Has Become Very Loose . No Pain And Itching. Suggest?
hello doctor, i am 25 and live in dubai....i am having trouble with my penis skin ( inner skin and top of penis), first it became dry ...like flacky in march this year since then it has been like this only . Now, that skin has become very loose and looks like dead. I feel no pain and no itching. is it dry skin because i wash my penis with regular bathing soap.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Dry, loose and flaky skin on penis can occur due to primary skin disease. Dryness of skin is observed in many conditions, most common being dermatitis and eczema. Washing the skin with soap and water will not make the skin so dry. A clinical examination is required to know the exact nature of the lesion. A biopsy of the loose and dry skin may be required. You need to consult a dermatologist for clinical examination, clinical examination and further management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
