Having High Fever. Hepatitis Test Done. On Bruphen. Fever Is Persistent. Cause And Cure?
Hi My daughter is 21 years of age and having fever since 11 days ranging from 99 to 102. We have done all the tests which came up with raised value of AST AND ALT. BUT Negative for all the hepatitus.Fever is not going away. it starts with the chill and lasts for about 3 hours and subsides after taking bruphen. what could be reason for this fever and how to treat it
As far as concerned about raised level of AST & ALT.
Both tests are done to find out any damage of liver due to jaundice, hepatitis, cirrhosis.
Raised level of AST & ALT also found due to damage of RBCs, heart, muscles, pancreas, kidneys.
So consult a physician and get in blood examination for Widal test, X-rays chest,U/S .
Good luck. Dr. HET
