It appears that you have urinary infection along with
septicemia (spread of infection into the blood). A urine examination, along with, its culture and sensitivity test will identify the causative bacteria and also the BEST antibiotic to treat the infection.
Widal's test becomes positive only by DAY 6 of fever (in case of
Typhoid fever). So, it should be repeated to see for increase in its values.
Alternatively, Typhidot test is more superior to
Widal test. Get yourself tested for
dengue, as well as, malarial
antibodies (a superior and more specific test for malaria).
Malaria too is a strong possibility, particularly if you live in an area endemic for malaria.
CRP becomes positive in any infection and, therefore, is non-specific.
So, consult your doctor again and, apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable/modified treatment as advised.
