Having Infections And High Fever. No Change After Taking Antibiotics. What Kind Of Disease Is This?

sir, my relative has infections. but inspite of higher usage of antibiotics, she had not recovered till date. she had high fever all the time. her health has decline. all kind of tests had been done. but no results had outcomeh. please suggest what kind of disease she is suffering and is there any risk to her life. she is now admitted to Appollo hospital, odisha,

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Mere mentioning that she is having fever , we can't evaluate any diagnosis .
At least age , duration of illness , history of illness, type of fever , cough present or not present.
Fever is with chills or without it .
May be ,
1 Tuberculosis , diagnosis can be confirmed by chest Xray and sputum examination.
2 Typhoid fever , diagnosis can be confirmed by Widal test, immunological test .
3 Cancer may be the reason.
4 H I V is the most prominent cause of fever with mild chills and decrease in weight .
So consult another physician and get his opinion with all test .
