Having Itching In Eyes, Increase In Cylindrical Power. Causes For Increase In Eye Power?

Hi, I am wearing spects from past 12 years, I am 27 and working as IT consultant working on computers 8-10 hrs of day. over past week I had headache and itching in eyes, doctors suggest me that my cylindrical power has increased from -1 to -2,5. I am worried about my eyes, does somking is causing weaker eyes or working on computers are affecting my eyes Thanks

Smoking is not likely to affect your vision but working on the computer from a wrong angle can cause the fatigue, dry eyes and the increase in the cylindrical power of the specs. At your age usually the eyesight becomes stable with no further increase in the power.
