Having Jaw Sore And Swollen. Hurt More When Swallowed Or Opened Mouth Wide. Right Medication?

Hello, For The Past Two Days My Jaw On The Left Side Has Been Sore. On Day One It Came Out Of Nowhere I Was On The Computer At Night And I Had Yawned And My Jaw Began A little Sore And Started Swelling A Little So I Was Completly Fine The Whole Day And No Problem With My Teeth Either So I Put Some Heat On It. Day Two The Swelling Was Competly Gone But On And Off All Day It Sometimes Hurt When I Swallow Or open My Mouth To Wide. I Dont Understand I Have No Trouble Eating Or Drinking You Think You can Help Me?

Thanks for asking query,

This could be due to impacted wisdom tooth.
Get a checkup done by Dentist.
Could also be due to TMJ problem.
Take an OPG radiograph.
Treatment depends upon proper diagnosis.
