Having My Periods, Taking Depo Shots. Seen Light Spotting. Feeling Nausea, Cramps. Cure For Symptoms?

Hi I've been on my period for 3 weeks now and i use the Depo shot as birth control. It's been a light spotting and none of my doctors are reaching back to me with answers. I started feeling extremely nauseous and having awful cramps which hasn't happened since before i started taking depo. I've been on the shot for almost a year now. I don't know what to do I'm in pain and wanting to throw up

Hello,

Depo shot has some adverse effect like irregular spotting, nausea, breast tenderness, abdominal cramp, headache etc.

Here, you need to undergo one TVS scan to rule out pelvic pathology if any. You can consult with gynecologist regarding this to proceed other relevant tests. Take supportive medication accordingly.

Maintain genital hygiene, take healthy diet, avoid stress. You may need to change current contraceptive method. Be well.
