Having Nicole Shaped Red Bump, On Upper Back Thigh With A White Head In Centre. Had Chicken Pick Vaccine.Cleaned With Alcohol Turned Red. Is It Related?

Hi. My son has a Nicole shaped red bump on his upper back thigh. It had a white head in the centre . Not there/noticeable durin bath last night. Very sore. He thought it was a mosquito bite and showed me. I took a q-tip dipped in alcohol to clean the area and it popped. He screamed. No blood, just very red. He just had his chicken pick vaccine on Monday and sitter had shingles recently. Related? Or coincidental? I'm nervous

Hi, it appears to be the abscess, formed by the insect or otherwise.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such infection, prescribes, cifixime, ibuprofen, and paracetamol, for relief. Thank you.
