Having Noticed A Huge Black Patch On Upper Back & Neck

Hi Dr. Hope you are doing well. I am 27 years old. I have a huge black patch (pigmentation) on my upper back and neck due to sun burn and its since 2004. Can you suggest me some ointment or cream to clean the area. It would be very helpful. Thank you!

Hi,

Hypermelanosis in big patch on back may be post inflammatory hypermelanosis. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

Demelanising like kojic acid containing gel may be applied twice a day. Take glutathione 500 mg cap and vitamin C 1000 mg tab daily for few weeks to few months.
