Having Noticed A Swelling At The Back Of The Throat

I was eating a chip, and i feel like it s stuck in the back of my throat/nose. It s really annoying. I feel a small swelling in the left side of my throat, and it hurts slightly. I pretty much guess that when the chip will be out, it will be better all over again. What am i supossed to do?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

Your posterior pharynx examination done to look for swelling or any growth or tonsillar enlargement if present....

If any foreign body obstruction present than back tapping in prone position done for it's removal...

If inflammatory swelling or tonsillitis present than suitable antibiotic might needed
ASO Titre or throat swab done if needed

Salt water gargles helpful..

According to cause further specific treatment can be guided

If needed local part x ray might done for it

Advise : Otorhinolaryngologist consultation for examination and further work up
