Having Noticed Redness Of Eye After An Head Injury

I hit my the back of my head on the left side yesterday. After it happened I didnt feel sick or anything jyst my head kinda hurt. This mirning my right eye is bloodshot. Am I ok? Also I was around a camp fire yesterday if that has something to do with my eye.

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a head injury following which you are having red eyes.
This indicates sub conjunctival hemorrhage and is because of collection of blood under conjunctiva as a result of direct injury to the eye or indirect injury.
This will resolve by 3-4 weeks and applying hot compression will help
.
However if there is diminution of vision or signs of concussion head injury like loss of consciousness following injury, nausea, vomiting... need to consult your doctor for examination and treatment.
