Having Noticed Vaginal Discharge Which Is Brownish After Menstration
i am about 48yrs old.i am experiencing vaginal discharge after my period.it is a mucus like fluid with a brownish tinge.my periods are irregular since a year.my ultrasound report shows i have a bulky cervix.recently i found i have a kidney stone of 4.7mm.
Hello, It could be either from the cervix or due to the collected old blood coming out at the end of the period. You should have a complete gynecological check up as per your age that includes a vaginal swab and a pap smear. If you have had vaginal deliveries in the past, you could have a bulky uterus and a cervix and also some amount of unhealthiness in the cervix. If you have noticed any spotting or bleeding after intercourse, you should report the matter immediately to your consultant for further management. The manner of your recent cycles also suggests that you have entered the peri-menopause. Hope this helps.
