Having Pain In Groin Area , Late On Period, Pregnancy Test Negative. What To Do?

I m over two weeks late on my period and I ve been having a lot of pain in my groin area on the right hand side. I ve done 2 pregnancy test , both negative. Took urine sample to doctors to be tested at hospital and that came back negative. Starting to worry now, the pain hurts more when walking, like a sharp stabbing pain.

Dear friend, welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I am Dr. Prasad Akole (Critical Care Expert- http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole) and am glad to address to your query here.

If there is pain in the groin and lower flanks and missed period and a carefully performed pregnancy test is negative, you should get evaluated by a gynaecologist for possible pelvic pathology.
A physical exam and possibly un ultrasound of the abdomen/pelvis would help.

Do you have fever, nausesa, altered bowel/ bladder habits?

There are many differentials including non-gynaecological causes.

I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily. I would be glad to answer any further queries. Take care and please keep me informed of your progress at http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole
Good Luck!
