Having Pain In Lower Right Abdomen, Cramps, Bloody Discharge. Could This Be From Birth Control?

The past couple of days I have been having pain in my lower right abdomen, it felt like cramps, then I started to get a bloody discharge yesterday, and just recently today I have gotten an orange discharge, could this be from new birth control I just started this month?

Hi,
It would be easier for me to comment if you can mention what birth control you are on. If you are using an IUD you need to have regular follow up and check the threads yourself. A sonogram may be needed along with a hormonal profile, blood counts and urinalysis. Please consult your consultant for a complete evaluation and further management. It is natural for bleeding irregularities to happen after the initiation of any birth control method, hormonal or an IUD, in the initial months and these settle down later. Persistence of the symptoms requires a review and switch over to another method. Hope this helps.
