Having Pain In The Jaw, Chest Tightness. Have Allergies, CHF, Mitral Regurgitation. No Problem With EKG, Dental. Suggestions?

Hello, I am 32 female 190 pounds with allergies, CHF, and mitral regurgitation. I have been have jaw pain for about 2 and weeks now..I have been to PCP told her about it and she told me to see a dentist...just so happen i had a follow up with my cardiologist about my CHF and mitral regurgitation...i told him about it and he did an EKG and it came back normal...so i went and seen my dentist and he took x-rays and did the test on my teeth and he said it wasn't a toothache....just past Monday afternoon i was experiencing SOB, chest tightness, and feeling sick to my stomach. So I left my job and went to ER and they kept me for 24 hours running the blood tests and ekgs for heart attack and it came back negative. However, I am still having moderate to severe jaw pain on my lower left side...none of my doctors I have been to doesn't know what causing my jaw pain..

Dear friend

Thanks for sharing your concern.

common causes for jaw pain are

1. An infected or carious teeth

2.Fractures in the jaw due to direct or indirect trauma.

3.Any cyst OR tumor.

4.some benign or malignant conditions.

5.Referred pain from adjacent structures like ear and neck.

6.periodontal infections and due to neurogenic origin involving your temporo mandibular joints.

Therefore i would suggest you to go for a second opinion for diagnosing the exact cause.your oral surgeon might help you in thorough examination.

After knowing the exact cause suitable treatment can be started.

Hope it helps.

Please let me know for further query,i would be glad to answer your queries.

Thanks .

Take care.
