Having Painful Boil On Areola. Pus And Blood Comes After Bursting. Not Cured By Antibiotic. What's Wrong?
I have an xtremly painful boil on the edge of my left aerola which probably started developing in the month of nov last year. Finally in mid Jan this year it burst out with a lot of pus and blood . but til date it has not healed. There Still is a lump and pain and two drops pus oozes out every second day. Have tried several antibiotics , gels and antibacterial bath wash but to no avail... cud anyone plz help..?

A boil like lesion in breast can develop for many reasons including the serious possiblities like cancer.
But in your case the most common cause; the infection is more likely.
The infection in breast are most likely to be bacterial, but the viral infection pappiloma can also give pus like exudate that is bloody mostly.
The another possibility is a cold abcess of tuberculosis.
Because the problem is persisting I would advise you to get yourself examined by a surgeon and get a histopathology and gram stain and culture from the discharge and then fine tune the treatment.
