Having Pressure On Throat, Hiccups. How To Get Rid Off It?

it feels like i have pressure on my throat like i want to gag and all of a sudden i have hiccups i can not get rid of if im laying down or sitting at an angle my hiccups go away if i lay on my stomach they come back or if i sit up straight or stand they come back i have had this for 24hrs and cant kick it

Hi and thanks for the query,
Hiccups frequently occur in gastro esophageal reflux disease.
You have to see your doctor.
You may need an antacid, a prokinetic and baclofen.
You may need an upper GI endoscopy to know the exact cause of hiccups.
Till then eat at regular intervals, raise the head end of the cot by 2 inches by placing a brick and avoid alcohol.
